The Montgomery County Board of Education has reached an agreement that binds them to include members of a conservative parents group and a group of former homosexuals in redesigning a new sex-education curriculum.
I presume this will include the flashback therapy promoted by PFOX. This is where a gay man takes a tennis racquet and bangs it against a pillow while screaming out his father's name at the top of his lungs. "DAD, DAD, DAD!!!" The idea is that this will produce a flashback on how Dad traumatized him, giving the patient insight on how he became gay.
Welcome to the new sex education program in Montgomery County. I'm sure Creationism is just around the corner.

I totally agree. This nation is headed for doom, when we have backward ass country fucks teaching our kids such garbage. What a disgrace.
Being gay is not a "Lifestyle". Maybe it was for you but it is not for me and many other gay people. It is a biological trait just like eye color or male pattern baldness. You need to be an adult who is responsible for your own happiness. It is too bad that some members of society who are gay, like you, are too weak and to stand up against the religious right and their condemnation.
I think for myself, am responsible for my own happiness, and I make responsible decisions as an adult. Speak for yourself Max - don't speak for me.
When will the medical authorities step in and put a stop to this quackery bullshit, not to mention the injection of religion into public school 'science' classes.
And Max, read Wayne's book, being ex-gay is a wishful figment of your tortured mind. By the way, why are reading this site?!?! Aren't you 'ex-gays' supposed to stay away from people and things (like Calvin Klein underwear) that tempt and remind you of what you REALLY ARE!!! Gary (NJ)

To all that have posted here, don't buy what this Max character is saying, this is not a post from a supposed "ex-gay" it is a religous fundamentalist. Do not fall for it. I've seen too many posts like this and recognize the condescending tone instantly. To this fundamentalist: being ex-gay is not possible, being gay is an innate instinctive trait and not a lifestyle choice. Please stop referring to our innate instinctive traits as a lifestyle, it is very insulting. Anyway, I'm not falling for your BS so just go away and start acting like a human being instead of a petty self-righteous fool, Jesus ain't impressed. Tim W.
