In the latest Time Magazine, The Rolling Stones talk about their new album, "A Bigger Bang", and discuss a song, "Sweet Neo Con" that doesn't mince words.
"You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite/You call yourself a patriot, well I think you're full of shit."
The Stones, who are going on tour in the U.S. have always been my favorite rock band, and this just gives me one more reason to love them. Thanks Mick, for sticking that big tongue out at Bush and Rummy.

Way to go, Mick! They were and still are my favorite rock group too, probably the best of all time.
Now if only some of the leading democratic party figures could do the same, we'd all be in better shape, but they're all keeping a low profile, I wonder why?
I think the Dems are keeping a low profile because they honestly don't have to do much.
Bush Co. is imploding nicely on it's own. We've got Gold Star Mothers nipping at his heels, dismal approval ratings, a war going nowhere and an electorate finally waking up all of it.
The Dems don't to spend money to knock the Repugs down, they'll spend it when the GOP hits bottom to KEEP them down (it's much cheaper that way).

FAO: Anonymous' comment. Hello, Anonymous. I hear what you're saying but until the democratic party can come up with a real leader similar to Zapatero of Spain and tell it like it is, i.e. that all citizens should be treated equally under the law, irrespective of religious differences on the issue of same-sex marriage, then we don't have much of a chance of getting anywhere. Nobody that prominent other than Barney Frank has stepped up to the plate with the exception of NYS Attorney General, Elliot Spitzer who supports gay marriage rights. I don't know of any other heterosexual political figure who can compare.
I don't know which is more pathetic: The fact that the once-original Stones have become so pedestrian that they're doing the same tired anti-Bush shtick as the rest of the entertainment community, or the fact that they're doing it about four years after everyone else.
