While touring the Houston Astrodome, where thousands of Hurricane Katrina refugees have been surviving, Barbara Bush said they didn't have it so bad because they were poor to begin with.
"What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas," she was quoted as saying in an interview on National Public Radio. "Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them."
I hear that the Bush's mansion in the posh River Oaks section of Houston is very roomy, not to mention comfy. I suggest that since condidions are so nice in the Astrodome, the Bush's give up their massive home to the stranded Americans, and they can live in the Astrodome for a while.

These selfish Republicans make me want to vomit. They don't give a fuck about ordinary working people. My cousin lost his house, and this bitch thinks life is fine? She should be hung by her fucking pearls.
I never realized how truly evil that woman is until a few years ago. She has that look of "nice old lady" about her. Behind that look, you can see the evil in here eyes.
All of these neocon republicans live in a fantasy parallel universe. Barbara in the sky with pearls, that's why she's always had those kaleidoscope eyes! Gary (NJ) ps..all those refugees in houston are "scary" to her because they want to stay and they're BLACK!

Not to be a downer, but the Bush's live in Tanglewood, not river oaks, and i seen their home and it is not a mansion you might want to get your facts straight before writing an article again. Ralph A. Houston, Tx
