In the trial known as Scopes II, the school board members who want to force "intelligent Design" into the classroom are being represented by a nonprofit Christian law firm based in Michigan. The content of intelligent Design is really Creationism by another name. Yet, these phonies are actually trying to trick the court into believing that this is not about imposing religious beliefs.
"This case is about free inquiry and education, not about a religious agenda," Patrick Gillen, a lawyer for the board said in his opening statement.
Sure - this isn't about religion and teens drink beer because it's less filling. Who do these idiots think they are kidding? Wouldn't it be nice if these fundamentalists told the truth and simply said, "We think we are superior and turning America into the Christian version of Iran would be good for the nation."

From my experience, Fundamentlists are the biggest liars on earth. The means always justifies the ends with these people.
As a Christian I take umbrage. The Lord God created the earth, and no amount of liberal science can change this true fact. You people want God dead, but he is very much alive and well. God gets the last laugh when you burn in Hell.
Sam, I suppose you believe your parents didn't create you, but some higher form that you call YOUR god, but I guess he really did overlook you since you don't fit into his "intelligent design". You're no christian if you're condemning people to burn in hell. Where is your christian charity in all this? Caste not the first stone, judge not and ye shall not be judged.
Sammy "liberal science" is redundant because "conservative science" would be an oxymoron. Now go fire up those necrotic neurons and dendrites in your brain and try to figure out what that means! Gary (NJ)

Fundamentalists are troubled, weak people who base their lives upon a 2,000-year old myth. They become angry when confronted with differences because, deep down, they know the truth and are actually quite insecure about their beliefs. It is their natural inclination, therefore, to surpress dissent.
It is sad, because many of them have talents that could do themselves and the rest of the world a bunch of good. But those talents are wasted, as they cannot fully blossom under the mind control which is fundamentalism.
They way that they treat gay people is a dead giveaway and showcases what is their most defining characteristic: their emotional immaturity.

Sam in Kansas:
First of all I respect your right to believe as you wish. Do you respect my right not to believe as you do? Maybe my beliefs do not subscribe to monothesism or for that matter to the existence of a higher power or "god" at all.
You are certainly free to raise your family and instruct your children as you see fit -- at home, but do not force your beliefs into the public school system. Sunday school is the place to teach your religious beliefs -- not the public classrooms.
I am a Christian too, and I think that God gave me intelligence to understand the world and to live fully. Sam: Don't you think it is a grave Sin to renegate God by doubting that God can create a system that evolves???
You fundamentalists are to blame because you people lie about God and separate good people from God. It is because of you that our churches are empty, no because of the liberals, is because of you that people are turning their back to God, is because your deviated ideas that people doubt!
Stop it!!! you fundamentalist "Christians" don't owe the truth!
