Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney wants to be president and he is traveling the nation dissing his own state in order to win the job. Is it just me, or is this guy absolutely pathetic ? His aspirations are little more than a pipe dream. What strength would he bring to the ticket other than helping the Republicans recapture Utah, already the most Republican state in the nation.

I can't beleive we voted in this guy. We hang our heads in collective shame.
How did a right-winger ever get to be the gov. of Mass. anyway? Plus to mock his own state is pretty low too--why doesnt he move to some hick state and run there? I think it's appropriate that he compared himself to a "cattle rancher" as his politics only appeal to the herd mentality anyway. I'd take a bunch of nice compassionate vegetarians anyday over his ilk. Gary (NJ)

I'm still puzzled on how a mormon conservative Republican got elected here, but what really bothers me is how he has turned against our state since he has embarked on this presidential run. When he was first elected he described himself as 'pro-choice' but just a few months back he states he has "deepened" and is now against it. All of it is obviously political play. Even his Lt. Governor Kerry Healy has been divided with him on issues, including gay marriage, she supports civil unions, where he doesn't support any union of any kind. If Romney was ever elected president..it would defintely be time for us to worry...
