1) The special prosecutor in the C.I.A. leak case has summoned Karl Rove, the senior White House adviser, to return next week to testify to a federal grand jury in a step that could mean charges will be filed in the case, lawyers in the case said Thursday.
2) The ranking Democrats on three House committees called Thursday for an outside investigator to determine why a prosecutor in Guam was demoted in 2002 after opening a criminal investigation of Jack Abramoff, the Washington lobbyist tied to Tom DeLay who is now at the center of a federal corruption investigation.
Folks, GOP scandals keep falling like rain from the skies. These guys swept into office in 1994 with their Contract For America that promised to clean up corruption and cronyism. They only cleaned it up in the sense that they perfected the art of chicanery and now exist only for the sake of extending their rule. While the GOP likes to focus on morals, they have always been about money. As the scandals mount, we can only hope mainstream Americans realize that they have elected fiends and crooks who should be thrown out of office in 2006.

Its delicious. Lets sit back and gloat and watch as it all unravels before us. The tide is turning against them. Society will judge them by their deeds for sure.
Right on! I'm currently reading a book that was on the NYT best seller list called Dont Think Like an Elephant. It explains the differences between the right (autoritarian parent, patriarchal, total self-interest) vs the left (nurturing parent, personal freedom, allowed to question etc.) and how the Dems need to reframe the debate using language that will reach the hearts of americans. The right has been masters of this for years and is why they've kept winning. Howard Dean wrote the intro to the book. I hightly recommend it.

You aint seen nuthin yet! I'm an astrologer and thought that the shit would hit the fan for bush and company this sept-oct when Saturn hit his ascendant-Mercury-Pluto conjunction. The lunar eclipse on Oct 17 looks REALLY bad for the pres and the 'party in power', the republicans. Karma time for them--finally!!
