The Advocate Magazine reports that evangelist Franklin Graham said Tuesday that Hurricane Katrina could lead to a spiritual rebirth of "sinful" New Orleans. A fundamentalist Republican New Orleans without parties, costumes or homosexuals sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it? Come to think of it, it sounds a lot like Alabama, which almost no one wants to visit. Leave it to Graham, and New Orleans will soon be filled with strip malls, SUV's, Waffle Houses and mega churches. The only thing it will noticibly lack are tourists.

They can pray all they want, its not going to happen. Such self-righteous hypocrites.
You cannot get any more "vanilla" than Salt Lake City and yet it has a fair amount of gay debachery. (Even Planetout says so.)
You'll never find a city with such criteria Mr. Graham wants. A city of Enoch-like inhabitants would only have WalMarts to shop and you know how utterly boring that would be.
Oh hey Regan...You'll do fine in Utah. The Church here is looking for more colorful people. I'm sure they need more color in the Mo Tabs (the choir) and there are plenty of other opportunities to be a token non-vanilla person here.
Just don't tell them you're gay. That's equivalent to child-molesters and almost as bad a wive murderers here.
