A pastor who threatened a national boycott against Microsoft and other major corporations for endorsing a gay rights bill urged supporters to buy up the companies' stock and dump it to drive prices down.
Rev. Ken Hutcherson, pastor of Antioch Bible Church in the Seattle suburb of Redmond, said the stock-dumping plan had been part of his strategy all along.
"You got to find out how you affect a company," Hutcherson said.
Leave it to the good old moralists to dream up a sleazy, unbiblical scheme to undermine those in which they disagree. With all the real moral issues out there, Hutcherson's obsession with homosexuality is rather bizarre. It always amazes me when people follow and give money to such ignoble, disturbed clowns.

Like Ford - Microsoft reconsidered its position and stood behind the Gay legislation. Thats why this shithead has his dick in a knot.
I never understand how Black men or women can be so viciously anti-gay/anti-civil rights. Being from Atlanta (originally) I've long admired Coretta Scott for making this statement while speaking at the 30th anniversary of her husband's assassination:
"I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice," she said. "But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King Jr. said, 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.'" "I appeal to everyone who believes in Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream to make room at the table of brother- and sisterhood for lesbian and gay people,"
Black men and women are against gay civil rights for the same reason that white men and women are: they're ignorant.

People who deal in sufficient amounts of stock trading to make his idea work wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Like the Focus on Family organization that said on its website the Proctor and Gamble stopped sponsoring gay programming and websites when their sponsorship actually INCREASED 33%! Tom in Seattle (sigh)
