Like most bullies, the "ex-gay" group Exodus International backed down when a blogger shoved back against its threat of launching a frivolous lawsuit. The tussle was over a parody by Justin Watt on his blog JustinMania. The blogger says he exercised free speech when he made fun of the dumbass Exodus billboard, which said, "Gay? Unhappy? www.Exodus.to." Watt re-created the billboard on his site so it read, "Straight? Unhappy? www.gay.com."

Watt enlisted the help of the ACLU and the minute the cowardly lawyers of Exodus knew they could not intimidate and harass Watt without a fight, they tucked tail and ran. Apparently their empty threats were as phony as the lives of the clients they represent.

It appears this had something to do with Exodus dropping their suit as well:

I guess the man who had the parody billboard saw something that he was going to lose on as well.

But this brings up a great question. Why aren't there ex-straight ministries?

There aren't ex-straight ministries because straight people inherently know that changing one's sexual orientation, be it gay or straight, is irrational.

Methinks there are also some GLBT people who would discourage it. Inside, they would say:

"You str8ts CAN'T be like us.

We dress better than you.
We dine better than you.
We live life more elegantly than you.
We're more talented than you.
We're smarter than you.
We're better than you."

Wasn't that kind of the point of "Queer eye for the straight guy"?

Thats an absurd analogy. Q Eye is just entertainment and as far as gays being superior to some heterosexuals like the stupid hicks in the biblebelt who still keep their poor dogs chained outside to a doghouse--well, hell yeah, WE ARE!
