With polls showing a close race, anti-gay Colorado Rep. Marilyn Musgrave is getting desperate. A group called Liberal Extremist.com put out a smear ad, called "Manhattan Angie" portraying Musgrave's opponent, Angie Paccione as too liberal for the District by showing clips of New York's gay pride.
Musgrave is clearly trying to deflect attention from her sorry record and for the fact that she has done absolutely nothing to help people in here district.

After watching that ad, it is no wonder that Marilyn Musgrave was endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan in May of 2006. Bigotry is all the same.

My first reaction to that commercial is that it won't sway anyone. It's so extreme and downright goofy that I believe most people will either laugh at it or turn the station.

This is only marginally related to your topic, but I had to tell you in case you hadn't heard: George W. Bush was just broadcast over National Public Radio saying that his prescription drug plan has stopped senior citizens from having to choose between paying for food and paying for medications. This is the biggest lie he's ever told, and if the Democrats are smart, they'll exploit it for all it's worth. I think's it's worth quite a bit.
