Historians: Bush May Be Worse Than Hoover

With two years to go, Bush is in a race to achieve the title as "worst president in the history of the United States." Historians are comparing him to Herbert Hoover, who wrecked the economy and caused the Great Depression. Bush has flubbed Iraq and has no domestic accomplishments to boast of. To add insult to injury, he compiled his failures with a Republican House and Senate - so he has no excuse for his terrible tenure.

We can only hope and pray that two years pass quickly before Bush's incompetence and general stupidity bring down this country. As long as Bush is at the helm, America's future is bleak. I've been saying this for six years - and historians will say this for eternity.

Bush is so damn dumb, I bet his presidential "library" will have no books and be stocked with comics depicting his tragically comic presidency.

He should resign while he is ahead - of Nixon.

It's either nauseating or amusing, depending on your view, to see conservatives deserting GWB in hysteria now that the magnitude of his failure is undeniable. The current parlor game is "Who lost Iraq?" with conservatives blaming, among others; the American people, the Iraqi people, the Democrats, (What? Not only did Republicans control the Congress for six years, the Dems gave George practically everything he asked for.) the Mainstream Media for not cheerleading the war enough, the military for not being gung-ho enough, George W. Bush for not being enough of a conservative(!), Bush's dog, etc., etc.

Evidently no conservatives have thought of looking in the mirror. If the next two years plus the previous six mean that the Religious Right is completely and utterly discredited (finally!), then perhaps "good may be the final goal of ill".

W was a failure at literally everything he's done in his life; he couldn't even find oil in TX. If it weren't for daddy's money and power he would probably be a skid row drunk/doper somewhere or in a mental institution for people who've had their brains fried by drugs and/or alcohol. Why did anyone think he could possibly be a successful president?!?!
