Homophobia reached a comic new low today after WorldNetDaily published an insane ranting by a lunatic named Jim Rutz. The buffoon claims that if you eat to much ToFu, you might become a homosexual.
"Soy is feminizing, and commonly leads to a decrease in the size of the penis, sexual confusion and homosexuality. That's why most of the medical (not socio-spiritual) blame for today's rise in homosexuality must fall upon the rise in soy formula and other soy products. (Most babies are bottle-fed during some part of their infancy, and one-fourth of them are getting soy milk!) Homosexuals often argue that their homosexuality is inborn because "I can't remember a time when I wasn't homosexual." No, homosexuality is always deviant. But now many of them can truthfully say that they can't remember a time when excess estrogen wasn't influencing them."
When are they going to rename this cyber rag Weird Nut Daily? What funny farm do they troll to recruit their writers?
Surely, it is only a matter of time before the weirdos at NARTH and Exodus (Richard Cohen, for sure) pick up on Rutz's zany ideas. Will someone get our opponents a good team of shrinks?
Oh, there is good news. You can still eat tempeh and stay hetero.

Hmmm, soy has been part of the diet in Asia for thousands of years...you would have thought that something like this would have been noticed sooner?

OMG, that explains everything. I had a great relationship with both of my parents. I was never molested. I've never had a fear of failure. However, I was raised in a vegetarian household. Damn that tofu. It is my parents' fault. Bring on the testosterone injected burgers. That'll turn me into a straight man for sure. I might die from clogged arteries, but it will be well worth it. Right??

I'm a little confused, I had a brother who was straight, a sister also straight, If they were fed Soy milk when infants, why was I the only child to end up gay? These people who come up with this stuff really scare me.
Eating peanut butter gives you a peanut sized cock and the consumption of prunes has been shown to cause dried up wrinkly skin; drinking wine makes you whine and parkinsons disease is caused by milk-shakes.

Phytoestrogen is known to decrease sperm count. Honestly, I take to keep my weight down. After the estrogen production level drops off the pounds have crept on.

Nothing can make the penis shrink (except maybe Lorraina Bobbit); the size you get at birth is it. Even steroids will only cause the testicles to shrink, not the penis as one often hears. Soy? Not gonna happen!

That dumb ass motherfucker ought to go to Gay.com or ManHunt.net and take a look at the size at some of those King Kong Cocks. Talk about a theory that is easy to disprove.
Why, I had a 10 inch cock up my tailpipe this weekend. Gay men have smaller rods? Please, give me a fucking break. I'd like to jam my thick 8 incher down his throat and see what he has to say, or gag.
Far from having reduced penis size, it is documented in the fascinating book "Born Gay, The Psychobiology of Sex Orientation" by Professors Wilson and Rahman (Peter Owen Publishing 2005) that homosexual men actually have a slightly larger average penis size.
There are suggested reasons for this, relating to foetal adrogenisation.

The ex gay movement does not blame all gayness on behavior. Some concede that it is both nature and nurture.

We are aware of that, Anonymous at 9:07.
Could I ask you to clarify your own view of Mr. Rutz's assertion that Tofu can shrink male genitals and turn males homosexual? DO you believe he is correct?

There are legitimate reasons to avoid non-fermented soy products - traditionally soy was used as a condiment only, rather than as a replacement for milk or meat, and was always fermented. Amongst these are an increased risk of breast cancer (for women and men) and liver damage, as well as decreased fertility (NOT genital shrinkage, which is more or less physically impossible) all caused by high levels of estrogen, which can be found in unfermented soy.
Homosexuality is NOT a possible side-effect of soya consumption, as studies have shown that if anything, homosexuals have higher levels of androgen products such as testosterone, rather than less as the WND article seems to assume. These higher androgen levels might also explain the studies which show gays with larger male genitalia, though I suspect this is a self-selected result (with more diminutive homosexuals being less willing to come and have their genitals measured) rather than a "real" trend.
