Al Gore now has an Oscar and a Nobel Peace Prize. I guess he was lucky that the Supreme Court selected the guy for president that more Americans rather BBQ with. That says a lot about us, doesn't it?
I endorse Al Gore for president. He makes the right decisions, is ahead of his time, has good instincts and been vindicated time after time. What more could America want? I better hold the thought, before we elect Sen. Sloth (Fred Thompson) or some other guy Americans would want to share a beer with.
Run Al, RUN.

Al Gore is GREAT! However, it's easy to understand why he prefers not to run. He's on top of the world now, a true intellectual internationalist. Why would he descend back into the world of American politics, where conservatives think snapping a photograph of him getting into an SUV is political discourse? I am so happy for Al Gore and his fine wife, too. Success is the best revenge!

I agree with you Chris. He got a bad break and bad lip service from the GOP. Maybe another time, but not now. Maybe that othertime will be when he's running against a Democrat that's ready to leave the office of the President on a Good note will be the right time.

Al Gore probably won't run now that Clinton is ahead of the game. Personally, I don't care for her or her politics, ditto Obama and Edwards, but it will be a first for women and a stick in the eye of the right wing bigots, homophobes and misogynists.
My choice would have been Dennis Kucinich, the only one with the guts, integrity and honesty to speak the truth, but that's not how our political system works. You have to be tied to the corporate and military industrial complex to get funded to run for office nowadays. Greed and corruption has polluted our system and the candidates who are supposed to represent us.

Yeah, I like Al Gore, too. I wish he would run for president - maybe he is the only one with enough sense not too - that alone should be an indication to all of us.

Gore is the ideal candidate for the Democratic stalwarts who turn out to vote in the primaries. He came out strongly against invading Iraq. He has spent the past six years warning the world about global warming. And he was robbed of victory in 2000 by the man whom the Democrats loathe above all others. What better way of wiping out the Bush era than replacing him with the man who should have been president? http://www.gkiss.com/blog/wayland

Enough Clintons and Bushes. The Dynasty has got to come to an end. Hillary is no friend to gay people. Besides, she can't win.

Anonymous, I have to agree with you on that, Clinton is NOT a friend of the LGBTQ community, neither are Edwards or Obama, same old crap every for years. Kucinich can run circles around all of them with his eyes closed. He's the real democrat in the party among a handful of others like Kennedy, Pelosi, and Feingold. They're the only ones worth their salt.

Robert,
Instead of choosing opportunist Lieberman for VP, if Al were to run, he should ask Kucinich to be his VP. That would be a great ticket, at least for us!

Richard, Lieberman is a sabre rattler and a moderate republican in independent clothing, a vile man. Kucinich would be a great VP but an even greater president, the likes of which this country would have never seen before. The problem with Dennis is that he's honest and not tied to the corporate or military industrial complex to get elected like the others are on both sides of the aisle and he's not shoving his personal belief system down your throat. Its a sad commentary when you think one's religious beliefs are important to getting elected to office in this country. No other western political system does this. I'm sick and tired of them all.
