The GLBT movement is marching towards victory. Each day it is easier to live as an openly gay person in much of America. This fact is infuriating right wing extremists and they are getting more nutty, shrill and violent, as they grow ever-more desperate. If one group represents the radicalizing of the fringe, it is "Watchmen on the Walls." They are lead, in-part, by Holocaust revisionist Scott Lively, a coward who was once ordered by a civil court judge to pay $20,000 to lesbian photojournalist Catherine Stauffer for dragging her by the hair through the halls of a Portland church in 1991.
Jim Burroway at BoxTurtleBulletin has done a good job following this hate group. It is time we all should pay attention, as well. It is clear that a more fitting name for this group of dangerous crazies might be "Watchmen off the Wall."
