Hillary Clinton showed herself to be the candidate to beat in the Democratic presidential primary Tuesday night, winning California and a string of key states across the nation. But Barack Obama, who picked up key victories in a raft of smaller states, remained firmly in the hunt for the nomination. Sen. John McCain won a commanding victory in the Republican delegate race over Mitt Romney on Super Tuesday. Sen. Barack Obama, trailing much of the night, nearly pulled even with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in the contest for Democratic delegates.
McCain won 511 delegates to 176 for Romney and 147 for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in incomplete results. A total of 1,023 delegates were up for grabs in 21 states.
Overall, McCain led with 613 delegates, to 269 for Romney and 190 for Huckabee. It takes 1,191 to win the nomination at this summer's convention in St. Paul, Minn.
Clinton led with 584 delegates to Obama's 563. A total of 1,681 delegates were at stake in 22 states and American Samoa.
Overall, that gave Clinton 845 delegates, to 765 for Obama, with 2,025 delegates required to claim the nomination in Denver at this summer's convention.

Hillary Clinton is a poll-driven politician who doesn't have an authentic bone in her body. This country needs leadership, not someone who wakes up in the morning and reads the day's polling data to see where she stands. If the winds go against us, she would throw the gay community under the bus so fast that our heads would spin, exactly like Bill did. The thought of her husband running wild in the White House for another four years is reason enough to avoid the Clintons. Her administration would be marred by scandal and hardball tactics. This nation would remain totally divided. We do NOT need Hillary Clinton as our next president. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

I'm no fan of Hillary, but the same exact thing you said applies to Obama.
I haven't forgiven him over the "ex-gay"/McClurkin thing (which he could have easily stopped, beings he's the prez candidate), nor has any of the other gay people I passed that story along to.
Sorry, but his #1 gay contact is some "ex-gay" gospel singer, who goes lisping and spittling anti-gay rhetoric like he's Daffy Duck, on the 700 Club.
When he gave his speech last week, he spoke about uniting blacks and whites, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans, Star Wars fans and Star Trek fans, and everyone else under the sun, but not once mentioned gays.
The only time he does mention gays is when he's around a gay-specific crowd, which makes me certain he's just using GLBT folks as a political ATM.
The only "change" he has in store for gay people is "ex-gay therapy".

I think Hillary Clinton is in a league of her own. She would sell her own mother down the river if it would get her elected, and we all know this. Obama is no saint either, and is clearly a politician himself, but when it comes to basic levels of decency, Hillary stands alone as completely devoid of the same. This is the United States of America for goodness sakes. We deserve a leader, not some poll-tested liar.

Several times during his campaign he has mentioned the alienation of gays and lesbians in his stump speeches.
He did this at a Black Baptist Church in the south on MLK day, which Im sure did not include a majority gay and lesbian crowd.
He did this at American University in DC.
Two, of many, examples of how he will be as a President.
Also of note are his rating by the HRC and the fact that he has gays and lesbains in the upper echelons of his campaign team.
He's the clear gay candidate. Ignore what gay establishment old party dems are telling us.
