Well, like she herself said - sitting in church does not make a person a christian. And whatever started this, it is obvious this woman has other problems in her life because her frustration level is out the window. I honestly feel sorry for her. And this is just one person who is having a bad day - not all people. She needs counseling on how to cope and manage stress. I'll bet she has financial problems.

If I'm ever in a place and some person starts shouting and seems threatning, I'm heading for the closest Exit, she reminds me of these people you see on the news who have a gun and goes on a mass shooting.

She's probably attending a Church that's told her if she had enough faith Jesus would have cured her of her bitchyness.. and she's rather bitter that He hasn't :P

I don't think this was about religion at all. It appears to me that this poor woman is seriously disturbed with paranoia, delusions and a fixation on religion.
To me, this is more about a person with a psychiatric disorder who is out of control, rather than some religious fanatic. There is a difference between psychiatric religious fixation and political and/or evangelical religious zeal.
These people can be very disruptive and in some cases violent, but they need help, not mocking.

This clip cracks me up. Typical megachurch nutball waste of flesh trash.
And what's her problem with the Mexican kid, and people from Mexico?
I don't know why anyone would blame this on mental illness or financial problems. She doesn't look homeless to me, although kinda ratty.
This is how typical religious fanatics act, and they're getting as worse as the terrorists. It's always good to have somebody with pepper spray or a taser around, for when one of these nutballs starts to act up and possibly do something drastic "in the name of Jesus".

I actually feel very sorry for this woman, and I pity her. Very, very sad.

Jim Cary, the comedian, said that when he was poor he was hostile towards other minority groups.
Having financial problems does not put you homeless - it does put you feeling threatened. And displaced anger is an obvious one in this clip.
She does not sound like a mgeachurch person and may not even go to a church. Envoking the name of Jesus - does only that - it does not mean she is a church goer or a believer.

Piper Laurie move over. This whacko just confirms what I've noticed about most fundamentalists who are always shrieking the name of Jesus at you. They're a bunch of miserable, bitter, religion addicts who have a very low level of tolerance for frustration and need a scapegoat. They cant stand to be around normal, happy people, especially if they're gay. She came into that Starbucks smellin of roadhouse coffee, and hhhi liked it, hhhhi liked it! Gary (NJ)

Someone earlier in the thread asked "What started this?" I'm wondering the same thing. At the beginning of the clip, you can't tell whether she had been making observations out loud or if she had been involved in a conversation with someone. Although I'd prefer to think the worst of her, in reality I can't without knowing what preceeded her tirade and whether or not someone was purposefully antagonizing her.

It's probably next to the Creationist Museum in Hillbilly Holler.

Their microwaved sanka is the envy of every mega-church.

why is one young man laughing before the tirade and why is someone filming this woman and the young man laughing. Camera then turns to another young man laughing.
This is a complete set up and these 3 men should be called out for their antagonistic ways
What did they say to her?
who walks up to people in an internet cafe and starts filming them - I would be disturbed if it happened to me

Actually, it looks like its in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I used to live down there and it looks like the coffee shop is in a strip mall complex on 81st and Sheridan across the street from City of Faith and Oral Roberts University. Sharon Daugherty is the wife of Billy Joe Daugherty. He is the pastor of Victory Christian Center...one of the largest mega churches in Tulsa.
I would say absolutely that she's a member of the congregation and she's pretty indicative of those amp'd up on the rabid fundamentalism so common to charismatic movements.

After listening to it again.. she's actually slamming Victory christian center.. so she's probably an ex-member who has a bone to pick.... but definitely Tulsa and definitely a fundie who's been pushed to far.

Although she talks about Religion, the issue isn't really religion here. Although I don't agree with this lady, and I admit she does creep me the hell out, I don't entirely blame her.
Perhaps she is having issues and has mental problems of some degree. The Cameraman is clearly egging her on.
If he wanted her to calm down, he would've left her alone. but that wouldn't have made such a nice video, now would it?

Mocking people with mental illness, your so cool. I especially like when she gets really disturbed, tries to leave and you follow her down the street provoking her more.. then smile into the camera. What goes around, dude.
