How sad. Can anyone who watched that ad see how empty, sad, and painful the kids life is?

Isn't this what "ex-gays" are constantly saying gay life is like--and then the LGBTQ community constantly denies it? Then an ad like this goes and confirms not the image we want to portray, but the one the x's put out there. Who's telling the truth?

Um, don't be absurd. I took a walk though Manhattan yesterday. I saw countless suggestive hetro advertisements that put this to shame. But - no one calls these ads the "straight lifestyle."
Some people like to have gratuitous sex. Others prefer relationships. Some are sexually dysfunctional and prefer celibacy in the name of religion.
Sex is not a gay or straight issue, its a human one. And, it can be quite fun.
Anonymous, show a person under 40 years old GAY OR STRAIGHT that hasn't gone through the disappointment of falling in love with their first and having their heart broken followed by a number of other heartbreaks before they find the one that they live happily ever after with.
The guy ended up riding off into the sunset happy. How does that differ from any straight fairy tale that would be considered romantic and beautiful.
I don't understand why you're interpreting this clip differently than you would the same storyline had it featured a mixed-gender couple.
This is the very double standard that so called "ex-gay" and anti-gay groups always use when they blame every negative thing that happens to a gay person on their gayness but NEVER blame the negative things that happen to straight people on their straightness.
You should think twice before you jump to carry their water for them.
