So now she's smearing Obama about his association with homegrown terrorists. What about Bush's association with the Saudi royal oil baron family, state sponsors of terrorism?
I only hope Obama brings up the Keating 5 and McCain's connection to that as well as Palin's refusal to comply with subpoenas. You you can bet McCain and others who support these clowns will support that too. In the GOP, its ok for some people to be above the law. If he's the maverick, let him prove it by admonishing Palin and Karl Rove too, another subpoena dodger. If it were you or me, we'd be in jail for that.
Its all part of their distraction from the real issues and it can only back fire on them which it will. Playing dirty means they're desperate to catch up, usual neocon tactics, but doomed to failure.

Non-profit offers $100k reward for info tying Rove to election rigging
10/03/2008 @ 9:59 pm
Filed by Andrew McLemore
A non-profit organization has offered a $100,000 reward to anyone who can supply information tying Republican strategist Karl Rove and computer expert Michael Connell to illegally manipulated elections, according to a Friday press release.
The group is called Velvet Revolution and is looking for evidence of criminal activity and Connell's relationship with Rove.
Citing testimony from another technology expert named Stephen Spoonamore, Velvet Revolution accuses the Republican Party of rigging elections for years by using Connell to exploit electronic voting systems.
Spoonamore filed an affidavit warning that the coming presidential election will be stolen by the GOP unless it is exposed. A colleague of Connell, Spoonamore gives evidence explaining Connell's involvement with past election rigging.
"Mr. Connell is a devout Catholic," Spoonamore wrote. "He has admitted to me that in his zeal to 'save the unborn' he may have helped others who have compromised elections."
The statement by Spoonamore also ridicules the Diebold voting system as "riddled with exploitable errors." The system was created by Diebold Election Systems Inc. and has been used in several elections accused of illegal meddling.
Connell was subpoenaed September 22 to testify under oath in a federal lawsuit in Ohio regarding election rigging and vote manipulation in past elections as well as the upcoming presidential race, according to Raw Story.
He has refused to testify and tried to quash his subpoena.
Connell ran the Florida Government computer network during the presidential election of 2000 and the Ohio Secretary of State election computers during the presidential election of 2004.
Attorney Cliff Arnebeck filed a motion in July to lift the stay on the 2004 Ohio election case in order to expedite investigations that could discover those responsible for the corruption and "protect the integrity of the 2008 election," the Brad Blog reported.
"We anticipate Mr. Rove will be identified as having engaged in a corrupt, ongoing pattern of corrupt activities specifically affecting the situation here in Ohio," Arnebeck said.
Rove is also suspected of connections to Connell in the wake of a scandal surrounding the firing of eight U.S. attorneys for political reasons, The Free Press reported.
The GOP strategist allegedly sent emails that detailed plans to dismiss the attorneys using the e-mail accounts set up by Connell. Rove has also ignored a subpoena mandating he testify about his alleged role in the firings.

Folks, we all see through the neocon Anonymous among other aliases....who can't win on this blogsite, nobody is exactly coming to his support now are they? Who agrees with him, lets take a poll? He can't even own up to a real name, that's the kind of LIAR HE is! Nice try self loather, won't work. In your world, liars like you never make mistakes when its politically expedient. Grow up and quit the school yard bullying tactic, people know what you're about, pal.
Another thing...when did you call Ed Schultz of Air America and at what time?

Robert, this "election rigging" story has always been a source of deep frustration and anger for me. DIEBOLD installs vote counters without paper receipts. Bad enough. Then we find out DIEBOLD is run by the hard-right conservatives! Wake up and smell the coffee. America is no longer a place where free elections are guaranteed. WE HAVE LOST OUR COUNTRY!
As for Sarah Palin, I wonder if she's smart enough to realize that the McCain campaign is using her like a filthy rag? Her quote this weekend that "Obama pals around with terrorists" revealed her to be a total PIG, an amoral christian political whore who will allow herself to be pimped out by John McCain in the most vile of ways. McCain wants to preserve his own honor while gladly feeding Palin's carcass to the wolves by having her give voice to these smears. They are both pigs for what they are willing to put this country through. "Country first?" The republicans are truly laughable.

Chris, I agree...but beware...Anonymous will be bashing you on this one and calling you a liar, the sign of a desperate man just like the neocon party with all this negative smear nonsense from Palin, or he'll come in under a different name to give an impression that he has support on this blogsite. We might as well call Bush/Cheney friends of terrorists since they have strong ties to Bin Laden's family, the Saudi royal family that is, a country that sponsors state terrorism, yet we're doing business with them, go figure.
Another thing, Chris. In both 2000and 2004, GOP strategists under the aegis of Karl Rove et al set voter caging. What they do is the send out voter registration materials, a direct mail campaign to absentee people, some serving in the military, others to former addresses of voters, some to fictitious address where democrats are numerous. So when the mail comes back unopened, the voter who has been caged shows up at the poll and finds out that he or she is not on the electoral register to vote. Its all coming out Chris....its going to fire back on them.

Chris, you may also want to check this one out regarding McCain.
I looked at that website, and if John McCain wants to play the "guilt by association" game, he should watch his back. I don't think it will work this time, but the smears coming from that side have reached a desperate pitch. They are losing, and they know it, so they are resorting to doing what Republicans do best, which is to divide the country and turn American against American.
If you're watching the market tumble today, you know that John McCain will certainly be called to task during tomorrow night's debate for saying that we should "turn the page" on the economy. His campaign is a total disaster, and Sarah Palin is simply disgraceful. This is the crowd that mocks you because you educate yourself and read the NY Times and other newspapers. They make fun of you because you have a passport with which to explore the world.

The funny thing is that the sentence diagraming is being tossed around on conservative sites, too.

Robert, Chris et al: They are losing, hence the smears. They have nothing at this time since they missed the economy issue. Wonder if they will trot out the fam'ly values BS and the gay marriage pony this time. I just voted and they told me at the courthouse that they had been instructed to have enough ballots for 90% turnout, not that 90% will show up but to be ready because they expect the biggest turn out in history, which is good news for our team!

I have lost every ounce of respect that I once had for John McCain. His entire campaign is based on smears now, even after he consistently condemned that very type of politics in the past. Reports of "kill him" and even racial epithets from the crowd attending a McCain rally yesterday are grossly offensive and are a result of this new strategy of sleaze and character assassination. That this man and his idiot of a running mate would put our country through this is sickening. I am so completely disgusted; McCain has turned into a sleaze merchant. Talk about taking the low road. Shame on him. I hope Obama knocks his block off during tonight's debate.

Sarah and Todd Palin's connection to the Alaskan Independence Party. She has the gall to accuse Obama of hobnobbing with terrorists, please. Listen to the video below.

Yes, it seems Ms. Palin not only "pals around" but married a guy who is conencted to "terrorists". On a serious note, all of this is total bullshit, and it disgusts me to no end.

Chris and Richard....lets hope it all fires back on them. It certainly does demonstrate though just how desperate they are resorting to gutter politics. Palin hasn't a clue about anything she is saying and probably never even knew who Ayres was until the campaign strategists told her. I've no doubt they told her to mention the NY Times article since she, like most neocons have absolutely no intellectual curiosity about anything. She's nothing more than a political whore doing McCain's dirty work.

Yes, McCain has prostituted her. And now she claims she reads "The Economist." Yeah, right, what a joke! But the bottom line for me is that McCain is engaging in "guilt-by-association" smears. This is totally unamerican.
I think Barack is making a mistake by responding by bringing up the "Keating 5", but it just goes to show how easily it can be to play this game if that's what they want.
The McCain/Palin ticket simply cannot win on the issues, so they will now put this country through the sadness of having to worry about electing the "spooky black man with terrorist ties!" How pathetic.
