Gay activists plan to demonstrate outside Gov. Charlie Crist's wedding to Carole Rome this month.(Will former New Jersey Gov. James McGreevy be invited?)
The group Impact-Florida has called on its members to gather in pink T-shirts on Dec.12 to "congratulate" Crist and Rome while their wedding takes place inside.
Crist, who is allegedly a closet case who allegedly used to cruise gay bars in St. Pete, endorsed Amendment 2 prior to its passage by 61.9 percent of state voters; it needed 60 percent to become part of the state Constitution.
It is sad what some men will do to satisfy ambition.

It is no wonder Charlie Crist is so desperate in seeking those external accolades which are inherent in politics and power; he is totally devoid of any inner being; he is an empty soul. I always thought it would be quite a curse to have to rely upon the approval of the masses in order to feel right as a person. What a tortured existence it must actually be.

He allegedely cruised gay bars and is gay? I thought that was a fact known within the gay community by those still living. I do not need a photograph in order to know that he is the liar and not the past gay patrons of those bars that are telling the truth. As far as the marriage, lets face it she has money, lots of it. People have been marrying for centuries because of that not so little FACT. lol

ve never met the chap, but my gaydar is going off. How sad that he chooses to lie and to use a woman who likely doesn't know that the man she's marrying is gay. It certainly isn't fair to her and just eforces the "vibe" of a sleazy closet case who will go to any lengths to get what he wants. I hope the poor woman finds out and leaves the asshat flat.

Oh I bet "the woman" knows full well that he's gay; I also bet she couldn't care less. She's doing it because she can be married to a sitting governor and get all the perks. Plus she's financially set for life now, too. And he gets to somewhat quiet the gay chatter about him. This is truly a perfect match!

I daresay the ex-gay ministries will be having a field day with this one. What is it about gay republicans that makes them so ashamed of who they are that they try to pass themselves off as straight and even go as far as marrying the opposite sex to stop rumors? How sad but how transparent. It won't surprise me if we have yet another Larry Craig episode with Crist.

Oh, I bet Crist has men meet him on the side in a private location, maybe even his house or an apartment. Plus, the woman is probably thrilled. No sex and all the perks. She truly has it made in that sense, if you think "things" are what life is all about. I give them 3 years at the most before she "cashes out."

Does anyone know with absolute certainty that Crist is gay? I suspect he is, but I think the evidence is not totally conclusive.

mdf1960, you have a point. How do we know for sure? I think it very unwise to demonstrate against Crist if there is no overwhelming proof that he in fact is gay. Does anyone have any concrete evidence, has anyone stepped forward with the goods? If they do, then fine, I would support a demonstration which would be appropriate.

They're not protesting his marriage because he's a huge closet case. They're protesting it because of his support of banning gay marriage.
Eshto: If this clown is queer, then his sexual orientation is a major issue. His actions would be hugely hypocritical and disloyal to the queer community.
