Wayne on O'Reilly 8PM; TWO's Rev. Stephenson on MSNBC

Truth Wins Out's Executive Director Wayne Besen will appear on Fox's O'Reilly Factor this evening. He will discuss Barack Obama's decsion to have Rev. Rick Warren give the invocation at the historic inauguration. On MSNBC, TWO's Rev. Jerry Stephenson will appear to discuss the same topic.

Wayne PLEASE don't be as ridiculous as the HRC representative David Smith on MSNBC. When they asked him who he would rather have giving the invocation, he said someone who wouldn't be divisive - someone like Gene Robinson.

Gene Robinson, whose ordination is causing a freaking church schism!!!

I don't have anything Robinson, I'm sure he's a terrific guy, but are you kidding?

I know you won't be that dumb Wayne, I'm just venting frustration at the "mainstream" LGBT orgs. They really are totally clueless.

second time posting this but . . .after giving some thought and the fact that Lowery will be setting the tone at the end. . .just want to share again:

I find it quite amusing that BHO selected 'the man behind the curtain' for now lots of folk will be paying a tad bit more attention to Brother Warren, as he continues to build his faith fortresses(4th largest church in america-wikipedia). And, with Warren as the BHO pick, Prop 8 hit the radar again on a national level.

Bringing together folk is what BHO is all about, and sometimes that is like inviting the relatives from the distant side of the family to the wedding, christining (sp), bar mitzvah, etc. that no one really wants to invite or even see. But after they all get together, well, sometimes more fireworks.

I have only seen Brother Warren in two video clips, like his charisma and admire him not only as a very effective spokesperson, but for his ability to keep his 'cool'.

But all this aside, before true conversations and dialogues to develop h, folk must be around the table. This is OHB's hope and tactic for change.

But then again The Godfather once said, 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.'

Mr. Besen, I just saw your segment on FAUX News and I am on the verge of vomiting after listening to that closet queen Jeffress spew verbal diarrhea all over the camera. You did the best you could with that kind of blind, ignorant dick. At least Bill O'Crappy wasn't there to cut you off every second.

What I'm sick and tired of is that clergy have to meet the $&*£ing RW litmus test! No gays need apply. Of course Obama would never pick a gay clergyperson. Have to constantly make sure that the bible-bangers' comfort zone isn't disturbed.

Awww, Eshto, it would be the end, wouldn't it, if Gene Robinson had been chosen...the man is a decent gay man in a long-term relationship. Scandalous! We need to start worrying about our own and not how Obama and the freakin' bible-bangers feel.

I am sick to death of people like Warren being given national prominence and God/dess forbid that a gay clergyman might be able to do something as simple as an invocation. Oh, "teh ebil gay"!

Maybe the "mainstream" gay orgs are thinking of our own. Screw the mainstream churches!
