On Monday, I appeared on Michelangelo Signorile's radio show. On the Sirius broadcast, the Ted Haggard scandal was discussed.
I was on the Gregg Jackson Show, a fundamentalist Christian radio broadcast, on Sunday, to debate Rev. Earle Fox on whether gay people can "change." The show degenerated into a bizarre monologue on the part of Fox, who seemed captivated by gay people having intimate relations, and he listed every imaginable activity in great detail.
Fox, also used fake studies, distorted research and misled America on "ex-gay" failure rates. I had actually been to Transformation Ministries, when Fox headed it, while I wrote my first book, "Anything But Straight." Not a single person in his "therapy" circle had actually transformed. They were all miserable, depressed and disconsolate.
And, they were actually praying for all those that had already dropped out of this pathetic "ministry." Given this harsh reality, it was tragic that Fox was still promoting a program that he personally knows does not work.
On Jan. 24, I appeared on another Christian radio show, Breaking the Silence. We discussed homosexuality and religion. I also defended the existence of evolution.

I've often wondered if these guys really know that there's no such thing as ex-gay, but in order to save face (since they've painted themselves into a corner) and to keep the donations flowing in, they have to carry on with the same old rubbish. (Besides, if they didnt have us as a scapegoat--and they ALWAYS need a scapegoat), who else is left to demonize!? I guess spending time, money and energy on helping the poor, sick, uneducated, abused and homeless is out of the question for them; too much work. It's easier and more fun for toxic people like them to gay bash. The fact that Fox seemed to obsess over our intimate lives struck another chord. I've often thought that part of the fixation they have with gay sex, is that they secretly think we have more 'fun'. Kinda like 'is it true blonds have more fun?' Is it true gays have more fun? And yes Mr Fox, the answer is, of course, yes we do!!! ps..can anyone tell me why so many heterosexual men get off on lesbian sex?

Gary, you're right, they know there's no such thing as "ex-gay" but they need to save face and keep the donations flowing in.
Part of the attraction to lesbian sex for heterosexual men is that they're taught that men are sexually disgusting and two women together further emphasizes the delicate and beautiful nature of women being sexual while keeping sex untainted by the "disgusting" male. Two women is the epitome of soft, gentle, attractive, and feminine.

Gary and Priya, another reason why straight men get off on lesbian sex is their fantasy of having two women, period, two potential lays instead of one all at the same time. Its also to do with...."they (lesbians) haven't found the right man" mentality", a sexual challenge to convert them. There is no stigma attached to the men just because they get aroused watching two women engage in lesbian sex, whereas if it were two males together they don't want to be caught or discovered in that situation, a sort of guilt by association mentality which translates into revulsion. Two males together, aside from being a turnoff to most straight males signifies that they are being less of a man. They're so f----d up and proponents of the doublestandard, extremely limited and unsophisticated for the most part. Also, socalled "bisexual" males, especially married ones often want the presence of a female, ideally their wives if they're having sex with the same gender. Another f----d up mindset. What about those who don't even think that two males kissing is acceptable? I'm glad I'm gay, well adjusted, proud and happy about that and I wouldn't want to be anything else even with all the discrimination out there to live like they do with a devolved mindset, straight or "bi". In a way, I resent and despise them.

That's right too Robert, some heterosexual men fantasize about lesbians in the context of having two women or trying to "convert" them. I've also known a few to fantasize about having a sex change so they could have lesbian sex with a woman as this makes sex seem more pure and delicate.
