Even though you might have exposed a corrupt Pastor, your methods were certainly deplorable. Even a prostitute should practise some form of ethics; if the Pastor has sex with you without any payment, u could have gone ahead and "exposed" him. right now, you have clearly voilated the terms of your deal which was to provide a confidential service in lie of a payment. what u have done is just sad and wrong even though perhaps a good has come out( no puns!) you own unethical and criminal behaviour.

Don't be a moron. If they had their way, the evangelical movement would outlaw all gay escort services. Haggard made a career out of deliberately attacking the very sex acts he participated in. If there is a code of ethics among escorts and their clients, Haggard broke it first.

Uhh, I think gay "escort services" ARE outlawed. That's part of the risk Jones was taking in speaking out.
There are conflicting codes of ethics in play here. Yes, prostitutes have an obligation to keep quiet about their clients. But adults also have an obligation to protect children in danger, and Jones knew that Haggard was preying on teenage boys in his spiritual care. Which has priority?
Outing is one of the touchiest issues in the gay community, but the consensus is you don't out a gay hypocrite just for being a hypocrite. But if he also is actively working to hurt other gays and their interests, which Haggard was, then he's fair game.
And by his own statements, that's why Jones came forward. It must have been an agonizing decision. I agree with Wayne that we owe him a debt of gratitude, and a lot more respect than it seems he's been getting.

I am not sure about teenage boys Jean. if that is the case, how is it that Jones hasnt talked about it. if underage children have been harmed by this evil Pastor and Jones is aware of it, he must come and testify about it as this would be child abuse!!
RIght now it looks like Jones was just angry about the Pastors views on homosexuality.
