Maggie Gallagher continues to be the gift who keeps on giving.

First she says that gays and straights should;t redefine marriage - she represents the latter supposedly - then several seconds later, responding to a poll, says that a particular demographic of individuals (my term) do not have the right to vote.

And Maggie wonders why she has to keep spending more money running ads on TV, radio, and intrusively on our blogs to sustain her theocratic agenda.

Gallagher has a lot of nerve. A once unwed mother, who exactly is she to make any moral judgments about others? You can bet this is all emanating from religion.

This is what I find especially disgusting in most, if not all, fundies, Robert. Somehow, as long as they are rigidly heterosexual, nothing else matters. Gay people aren't supposed to marry, but having a child out of wedlock is just fine and dandy. Sure it's hypocrisy, but with these folks, it is "Do what I say, not as I do".

The poll which says that a certain demographic does not have the right to vote is reprehensible. We have as much right to vote as heterosexuals--maybe more since marriage equality affects us directly whereas it would not affect straights at all.

Hopefully her 15 minutes will soon be over.
