This is a good video. It is startling just how DIFFERENT the two opposing worldviews are when it comes to gays and lesbians. On one hand, you have the one that Faith discussed, the notion that being gay is a "struggle" which can be prayed away or changed through the "laying on of hands." And then, of course, there is the truth.
I have to believe that people who believe the superstitions about gays and lesbians must, on some level, know that "something is amiss" with their view. Or maybe they don't know this, I really don't know. What I do know if that it takes an awful lot of self-lying in order to believe those things.
Some people just do not want to see what they see. In the year 2009, however, it is sad to see people who still apparently believe that being gay or lesbian is a spiritual problem which can be prayed away. Weird.
