You know, Wayne, these people make me ashamed to be an American. The bint to whom Barney Frank was speaking has NO idea what living under a true Nazi regime would be like. If she did, she might not be so quick to draw specious comparisons.
I may not care for Obama but the man is nowhere near a Nazi.
The ignorance of the right wingnuts never fails to surprise. I wish they'd just passed the fucking bill without all this town hall bullshit. But the Dems don't have even enough spine to pass a law without the input of such ignorant individuals.

Brilliantly addressed by Barney, something Obama should have done when the fear and hate mongers started their campaign of smears, innuendo and lies. In fact, Michael Steele should have taken the lead, but no, his silence gave consent. This is the face of the GOP, hate.
I'm thrilled that 65 progressive democrats are drawing a line in the sand to oppose any plan that doesn't include the public option. Anthony Weiner, congressman for the 9th District (Forest Hills, NY) hopes to get at least a 100 of them, plus introduce symbolic legislation this fall to abolish medicare to really flush out the the GOP haters of government run health care. I bet there won't be one who will vote for it let alone have the guts to do it having to face the wrath of their constituents. We need more Anthony Weiner types in the party, people who aren't afraid to speak out, unlike Obama who has shown NO leadership.
The democratic party needs to go it alone, it doesn't need the haters on the right who's only compromise is no reform and further alienate them as the obstructionist party that it really is. If they cared about health care reform, they'd get on board, but they don't. How is it during the last eight years, health care reform wasn't even on the Bush agenda? Is that a party that cares about the people? NOT!

I guess the people who threw the tired Hitler/Nazi comparisons around when Bush was President don't like it when the tables are turned.

I have said it before and will say it again. It takes a gay person to make a village.

Get over yourself, Joey7777! At least with Bush the comparisons were accurate. Anybody remember the Patriot Act and Homeland Security--that plus starting a completely unjustified war? Yeah I would say the comparisons weren't so far off at that.
The Democrats need to grow a spine and do what is right. If these people are so stupid as to fall for the bullshit of the Right, well, too bad. I am sick of haters and religious freaks wanting to steal the discource.
