I am glad the NARTH and the LWO conferences give Wayne something to do. Without those organizations who stand against homosexuality Wayne wouldn't have a job. His "Ex-gay myth" talk would be put on a shelf. And what do you think about that election in Maine? There is at least one New England state that had the sense to let the voters have their say. When legislatures and Supreme Courts vote on same sex marriage the people involved generally cave in to an aggressive and often times obnoxious gay rights advocacy group. Truth does win out.

No, Darwin, the lies won out. Civil rights should never be voted on. When Loving vs Virginia gave people the right to marry interracially 70% of Americans stood against that right. If it had been put to a vote the U.S. would have voted for bigotry, just as voters in Maine did.
Narth and the "Love" Won Out people seek to oppress and deny the equal rights of those who harm no one - that's evil.

Darwin, go take a long walk off a short pier. What did you do, go looking for gay rights sites to flame?
Homophobia is what is obnoxious, you jackass. There is no reason to deny LGBTQ people the right to marry except that the 'phobes don't like us.
Enjoy your "victory", jerk. It's not going to last. Time and demographics are on our side. So enjoy being a bastard while you have the chance.

Priya is of course correct, it's just a matter of time before we are completely victorious (as history has shown) and Darwin and the millions of morons who think like he/she does will *again* go down on the wrong side of history. BTW--Darwin, why is someone with a fundamentalist whack-job mentality using such a secular-humanist name?! You're proof that evolution doesn't quite work on everyone.

Well Darwin, you're a brilliant example of a species that has completely devolved.
What won in Maine and California was ochlocracy, hardly what one could call democracy.
You'd be singing a different tune if LGBT voters supported referenda to take away your right to obtain a civil marriage license that enables you and your ilk the right to a religious marriage. There's a huge difference between religious and civil marriage, the two aren't the same and for your information, religious cults do NOT own marriage, the state does. Get that through your thick, primeval skull.
How about another referendum to remove tax-exempt status of religious cults who directly interfere in the political process? That's what mob rule portends, pal. Be careful what you wish for. Your kind could well be next in the pecking order of discrimination, deservedly so.

I think Darwin is out to lunch but the way you toads (Robert, Merlyn, Gary) responded to him makes me sick. One of the reasons why the right doesn't listen to us is because we come off as vindictive assholes. Look at the language you use. Instead of making your point you alienate people because of the vengeful attitude that comes forth from your words. Sometimes I get ill thinking I am a part of group of gays and lesbians who continually shoot themselves in the foot.

Listen up Molly, so its ok for them to dehumanize and denigrate us when we fight for marriage equality, claiming that we'd be responsible for incest, polygamy and bestiality if we're allowed to marry. You don't call that spiteful or vengeful? Get real. What are we supposed to do, sit back and take it? Being kind to them doesn't work, they're nothing more than a bunch of psychopathic liars and haters.

Right on Robert, where's Molly's sympathy for all the lgbt youth who have been so piously and politely shamed and degraded over their brief lifetimes until the only way out they see is suicide or slow self-destruction with drugs or alcohol. Like Obama still hasnt learned, there IS no 'reaching out' to these people. They hate our guts and wish we were all dead or silently nailed into our closets like the pre-Stonewall years. Last night I finally got around to watching the movie Milk and those clips of anita bryant so sweetly and politely telling the world that we were the evil, cancerous scum of the earth out to molest and 'recruit' children and utterly destroy western civilization filled me with just as much face ripping rage as it did when I first heard it 1978. I'm glad the hag is still alive to slowly see us WIN!

GIVE EM HELL WAYNE.
Darwin: You are correct the truth eventually wins but it has yet to occur. Particularly within you.
Molly: You have the right to speak for yourself but kindly keep your judgements of an entire people in perspective. Darwin is an absolute hater and he deserves zero support.
